LeBron James has been casted a ballot by his kindred Olympians to be the Group USA banner carrier at the initial service on the Stream Seine on Friday in Paris. James is the principal men's b-ball player to convey the banner for Group USA. Ladies' b-ball players Sue Bird (2020) and Sunrise Staley (2004) recently served in the privileged job. Paris is James' fourth Olympics. He won golds in 2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London and a bronze in 2004 in Athens. "It's an unbelievable distinction to address the US on this worldwide stage, particularly in a second that can unite the entire world," James said in an explanation from London, where Group USA will play its last pre-Olympic display game Monday against Germany. "For a youngster from Akron, this obligation means the world to myself, yet to my family, every one of the children in my old neighborhood, my partners, individual Olympians thus many individuals the nation over with huge desires. James was selected for the distinction by Stephen Curry, who recorded a video supporting the designation, and USA B-ball. Group USA's lady banner conveyor will be declared Tuesday.
