Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton endures hand sprain versus Heat

Portland Trail Blazers focus Deandre Ayton left Tuesday night's 106-96 home misfortune to the Miami Intensity due to a hyper-extended right hand. Mentor Chauncey Billups said that X-beams on Ayton's hand returned negative after he was engaged with a crash with Miami's Kevin Love late in the primary quarter and fell hard to the floor. "I figure there will be some further testing since he was in a considerable amount of torment," Billups added. "I thought [Ayton] overwhelmed that first half. Repulsively, protectively, he ruled the game." Ayton wound up playing 19 minutes in the primary half yet didn't get back to the court for the start of the second from last quarter, with Duop Reath beginning in his place. The Trail Blazers precluded Ayton late in the third. Ayton had 12 focuses and 10 bounce back prior to leaving, wrapping up with his third consecutive twofold and his fifth in six games.
